Head of Sales | Lithuania

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Head of Sales to lead the Lithuanian branch of our client's international business. In this, you will be responsible for driving new business growth, strengthening customer relationships, and overseeing operational excellence in Lithuania. You will manage a local team while aligning branch activities with our broader European strategy.

With a comprehensive offering that includes real-time GPS tracking, route planning, fuel usage monitoring, driving behavior analytics, video integration, cold chain monitoring, and remote tachograph data downloads, we support transportation, logistics, and field-service businesses of all sizes.

Their platforms include robust tools for dispatchers, fleet managers, and drivers - offering everything from mobile apps to advanced analytics dashboards.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership 
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet national targets.
    • Lead, mentor, and support the Lithuanian team of 5 people (sales, technical and service), ensuring motivation and alignment with KPIs.
    • Set local sales quotas and monitor performance to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
    • Deliver regular reports and insights to company leadership.
  • Client & Partner Relations 
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with Lithuanian clients and partners.
    • Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics and competitors.
    • Lead complex negotiations and close large-scale deals.
  • Country Management 
    • Act as the senior representative in Lithuania, ensuring the branch is aligned with overall business objectives.
    • Oversee daily operations, manage the local budget, and ensure the financial health of the branch.
    • Represent the company at local industry events and build strong market presence.
  • Team Development 
    • Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing sales and technical team members.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-centricity.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to optimize sales strategies and product offerings.
    • Share market insights and customer feedback with the central leadership team.

 

Requirements 

  • Proven ability to scale and lead sales teams by recruiting, training, and developing top talent while creating scalable processes that support team expansion.
  • Experience managing operations or acting as a country manager, strongly focusing on driving growth and managing local market challenges.
  • Previous experience leading sales teams, preferably within transport and logistics-related fields and/or in the SaaS business, is an advantage.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and align the sales strategy to deliver value, improving customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Expertise in leading complex negotiations and closing large, enterprise-level deals.
  • Familiarity with developing and refining sales processes.
  • Understanding of sales tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRMs.
  • Fluent in Lithuanian and English, with working proficiency in Russian.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
