About the role
We are looking for a proactive and commercially driven Business Development Manager to help grow Fleethand in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
This is a new business / hunter role focused on identifying opportunities, opening doors, building relationships, and winning new clients in the transport and logistics market. You will work with potential customers across the region, represent Fleethand in meetings and events, and help introduce our solution to companies that can benefit from better fleet management and telematics tools.
This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys active sales, understands how transport businesses operate, and is confident building trust in a field-based sales environment.
Responsibilities

Identify and approach potential clients in the Czech and Slovak markets

Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities

Conduct outbound business development through calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking, and in-person meetings

Travel within the region to meet prospects and develop relationships face to face

Run discovery conversations and product demonstrations

Represent Fleethand at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events

Understand client needs and position Fleethand’s solution accordingly

Lead commercial conversations, negotiate terms, and close new deals

Work closely with internal teams during the pre-sale and handover stages
Requirements
-
Experience in active B2B sales / business development / hunting roles

Strong ability to open new accounts and drive opportunities from first contact to close

Experience in one of the following areas:
-
telematics
-
logistics / transport software such as TMS, WMS, fleet or related SaaS solutions

transport industry sales roles

Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills

Confidence in running meetings, discovery calls, and product presentations

Willingness to travel frequently within the region

Good understanding of the transport / logistics industry

Professional fluency in Czech or Slovak, and good English skills
