DiPocket - Business Development Manager (Inbound)

About the Company

DiPocket is a European fintech company providing embedded payment solutions that enable businesses to integrate financial services into their own products and platforms. Established in 2015, the company specializes in card issuing, digital wallets, payment processing, and white-label financial solutions for businesses across Europe.

As a principal member of both Visa and Mastercard, DiPocket offers a comprehensive range of payment solutions, including physical and virtual cards, IBANs, bank transfers, and payment disbursements. Its customers span multiple industries, including fintech, lending, insurance, employee benefits, travel, and financial services.

With over 110 employees across Vilnius, Warsaw, and London, DiPocket operates under electronic money institution licenses regulated by the Bank of Lithuania and the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), supporting businesses with the infrastructure and expertise needed to launch and scale payment products.

About the Role

DiPocket is looking for a Business Development Manager (Inbound) to manage and convert business opportunities generated through its established partner ecosystem, including card schemes, payment processors, referral partners, and direct inquiries.

Rather than focusing on cold prospecting, your primary responsibility will be to turn existing interest into successful commercial partnerships. You will engage with potential clients, understand their business models and payment requirements, identify suitable DiPocket solutions, and manage opportunities throughout the sales cycle.

You will collaborate closely with Product, Project Implementation, and Compliance teams to develop proposals, navigate technical and regulatory considerations, and support clients through the commercial decision-making process.

This is an opportunity to work with an established international fintech platform, develop relationships with businesses across multiple industries, and contribute to building DiPocket's commercial presence in Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and convert incoming business opportunities from Visa, Mastercard, payment processors, referral partners, and other lead-generation channels.

  • Qualify potential clients by understanding their business models, payment infrastructure, operational requirements, and commercial potential.

  • Lead discovery meetings and present DiPocket's payment solutions, including card issuing, embedded payments, digital wallets, and payment disbursements.

  • Take ownership of the sales process from initial engagement through commercial negotiations and contract closure.

  • Coordinate with Product, Project Implementation, and Compliance teams to develop tailored solutions and commercial proposals.

  • Build and maintain relationships with referral partners and prospective clients to support long-term business development.

  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, monitor deal progression, and provide reliable commercial forecasts.

  • Share market insights and customer feedback with internal teams to support product development and commercial improvements.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in B2B business development or sales within fintech, payments, card issuing, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), or a closely related industry.

  • Proven experience managing complex B2B sales opportunities and successfully closing commercial agreements.

  • Good understanding of payment infrastructure, card issuing, or embedded financial services.

  • Experience conducting discovery meetings, identifying client requirements, and presenting tailored commercial solutions.

  • Strong consultative selling, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with commercial, technical, and senior-level stakeholders.

  • Experience managing a structured sales pipeline and working with CRM systems.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple commercial opportunities simultaneously.

  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to have:

  • Existing relationships with Visa, Mastercard, payment processors, or other fintech ecosystem partners.

  • Experience working with electronic money institutions (EMIs), card programmes, or white-label payment solutions.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to work with an established European fintech company and a broad portfolio of payment technologies.

  • Access to business opportunities generated through DiPocket's existing partner ecosystem.

  • Exposure to international clients and diverse industries, including fintech, lending, insurance, and financial services.

  • Close collaboration with experienced Product, Implementation, and Compliance specialists.

  • Opportunity to contribute to the development of DiPocket's commercial operations and strategic client portfolio.

  • Hybrid work model with four days per week in the Vilnius office and one day of remote work.

  • Modern office at Workland Burės, professional development opportunities, wellness budget, free parking, and additional paid leave on your birthday.
